Why Should I Import Demo Contents And Settings?

If you are starting your website from scratch, it is better to start from a point. Import the demo contents and settings, delete or remove the pages/posts you do not need, replace existing contents with your contents and you are ready with your website.

If you already have a website with contents, we would suggest you to install a copy of WordPress in a sub folder, import the demo contents and experiment with the layouts we have created for you. You can import/export individual page layouts in both “Visual Composer” and “Page Builder” format from your experimental site to main site separately.

Why Should I Install All The Recommended Plugins?

We have used all the recommended plugins, while creating the demo layouts. In case of a missing plugin, the part of contents using the plugin would be missing or will be in shortcode format.

For example, if you do not install the recommended plugin “Contcat Form 7” and import the demo contents , all the forms in the demo will appear as un-rendered shortcodes.

The Import Process Is Just Going On And On.

The process includes transfer of hundreds of media file along with contents. It may take 5 minutes to 20 minutes or even more to complete the process depending on your server processing capability and network.

Import Process Failed. What Should I Do Now?

This process can be frustrating on shared servers. First thing you need to do is got to menu “Media” > “Add New”, Check your “Maximum upload file size (The last line)”, make sure you have at-least 20MB maximum upload file size. Ask your host to increase the limits. We recommend the following settings

max_execution_time 3000
memory_limit 256M
post_max_size 100M
upload_max_filesize 100M

If the process fails after limit increase, give few more tries and contact using the support forum along with the log file. Log file can be found in your media library.

Error 502, What Should I Do Now?

Most likely the issue is with server hosting the contents, possible reason might be

1. Your server IP is blocked by firewall
2. Missing media files

Contact us via support forum along with the error log file. Log file can be found in your media library.

The Layout Breaks As Soon As I Activate Visual Composer Or Page Builder.

Our demos contains pages using Shortcodes, Page Builder and Visual Composer(Premum theme i-spirit).

If you try to edit a page using Visual Composer or Page Builder created with shortcodes, the layout will break, You will have to use Page Builder to edit page created with Page Builder and Visual Composer to edit a page created with Visual Composer. Our demos contains almost all layouts in all 3 versions.

We recommend using Visual Composer for our premium users and Page Builder for Free theme users. if you feel comfortable working with codes, do try creating pages with shortcodes.

While Using Front-End Editor, Some Of The Elements Do Not Look Same As Actual Look Of The Page.

Many widgets or shortcodes uses JavaScript to render properly, for example; the portfolio shortcode or widget uses “Masonry” jquery plugin to arrange them in nicely ordered block. If you are using front end editor, these shortcodes or widgets will not render as they would as actual page.
