Hi:
I am using excel for one of my websites, http://www.medicalbillingphr.com, first off thank you for the template.
I found an SEO issue, there are too many H1 tags. Google and the other search engines only want you to use a single H1 tag as the main theme for each page. I found that navigation post-navigation uses a second h1, see the code below.
<nav class=”navigation post-navigation” role=”navigation”>
<h1 class=”screen-reader-text”>Post navigation</h1>
<div class=”nav-links”>
<span class=”meta-nav”>←</span> 4 Best Practices for Collecting Out-of-Pocket Patient Fees Q&A with Melissa McCormack, Analyst at Software Advice <span class=”meta-nav”>→</span>
</div><!- .nav-links ->
</nav><!- .navigation ->
I tried to go into comments.php and functions.php to change the code to an h2 but my changes don’t work. Either I am:
1. Not flushing my cache, I did this for the browser and server.
2. I am not making the change in the right place.
3. I am clueless, very likely.
I will be glad to send a reasonable amount to PayPal to resolve this OR even buy i-spririt if that makes sense.
Oh, and have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Regards,
